My dog Daisy was so excited to go on a road trip with us this time to Santa Monica. We left her home on our last road trip down to Imperial Beach. We missed her the whole time especially when we saw all the other dogs that were on the pier. Daisy is way better than all those dogs and she is way cuter too. She is a show stopper basically. Its pretty sickening sometimes because she knows it and she demands special attention. She knows that shes a hot chick and you better recognize.
Here in these pictures we are giving her that special attention she demands on our latest outing to check out beaches. We made Daisy a bed in our new Prius. We laid the back seat down and piled up blankies, towels, and a couple of my sweaters back there so she could lay on top like a little princess watching everything that is going on.
We went to Santa Monica first to have lunch at one of our favorite places Cha Cha Chicken. If you havent tried Cha Cha's you are missing out. We make a point of going there every trip out that way. We take our family and our friends with us and then they take their family and their friends so sometimes its difficult to get a seat here. Especially on the weekends but, luckily they have take out so you can always get it to go and then go over to the grassy area overlooking the ocean to eat.
Ya thats pretty awful but when you are desperate sometimes you have to resort to desperate measures like us when we got out our blankets and spread them out on the grass so we could sit comfortably under the shade of the trees overlooking the oceans crashing waves and the beautiful Santa Monica Boardwalk. Oh the horror of the perfect weather was almost too much for us to bear.
